ARG Merger Finalized
Some amazing and possibly welcome news, courtesy of dmax:
After the failure of recent ARGs (with TerraQuest being the latest), the creators of smaller, less stable ARGs have agreed to ensure that their project will run to completion by pooling their extant web pages and creating an amalgam of their plot lines to include the stories.
The new hybrid game, "Driven by NoahBoddy to Chasing Anastasia's Wish from Faradise to Jaded Media's TimeHunt" has yet to formally launch, but seems likely to appeal to a variety of players. At this point, there is no agreement within the Conference of PuppetMasters as to whom will take charge of the project, but most agree that it won't be an easy job.
A discussion group has already formed at Yahoo, where some well-meaning souls are already posting lengthy essays regarding the use of 19th century chamberpots, the anthropormorphism of ginseng root, freeway patterns on eastern Interstate 10, and the likelihood that all these somehow hold the clue to the "mystery" that has yet to be announced.
Remember, you "heard it here first." And yes, this has been a Tongue in Cheek Production.
